Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) on impulsive travelling among adolescent tourists. The research approach employed is quantitative, utilizing primary data sources comprising: a) adolescents aged 10–19 years; and b) individuals who frequently follow tourism trends across various digital media platforms. A sample size of 150 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The coefficient of determination (R^2) of 0.422 indicates that FoMO accounts for 42% of the variance in impulsive travelling among adolescent tourists, specifically at the Ngurbloat Beach tourist destination. Given that various other unmodeled variables potentially influence impulsive travel behavior, future research is encouraged to incorporate additional relevant constructs.
